The kaleidoscope is an optical instrument that reflects external light in infinite colors.
The name of this device derives from the Ancient Greek word καλός (kalos), "beautiful, beauty", εἶδος (eidos), "that which is seen: form, shape" and σκοπέω (skopeō), "to look to, to examine", hence "observation of beautiful forms."
This section is dedicated to all the women out there and their unique beauty… no matter of age, size, skin colour… .
With this photo journal I wanted to showcase all the diverse types of beauty in everyday life:
strangers, neighbours, acquaintances, friends and family… .
Thank you for participating in my photoshoot and being part of my journey :)!
I asked each of them to choose 5 questions from a questionnaire I put together to get a glimpse into their personal world.
You’ll find all the questions below and their answers within their individual profiles.
"... the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder.
This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves.”
