« As you start to walk on the way, the way appears. »
— Rumi

This is what sort of happened 3 years ago:

After my studies at Central Saint-Martins in London and having worked within fashion in New York and Paris, I decided to finally take the plunge and make the switch to a profession much closer to my heart.

In 2018 I went back to school earning my “CAP Bijouterie-Joaillerie ” diploma followed by “Mention Complémentaire en Joaillerie” diploma at the prestigious jewellery school Haute Ecole de Joaillerie and École Boulle in Paris.

During my recent studies I fell in love again with the possibility to create with my own hands and produce locally while rediscovering the joy in the process and creation.

My idea is to create contemporary yet timeless keepsakes and emotional objects, independent of trends… something that will last and be handed down as it will become a piece of you and your own personal story… something that will create a lasting memory.

Being able to personalise my creations is a significant and recurrent theme within my creations, as I would like for each piece to become “yours”.

The use of materials such as gold, pearls and precious stones guarantees that it will never loose it’s material value, but more importantly for me, would be the emotional value it would gain for you.

Every piece was born with either a sketch or a maquette, hand carved in wax in my atelier in Paris.

I find my inspiration everywhere: within nature, travelling and experiencing many different cultures, history, conversations had or a phrase I read … colours and objects that catch my eye in everyday life… the list is endless.

I have a tendency to prefer  “imperfection”, things which don’t quite match, the “odd one out”… the little detail that creates imbalance and therefore makes something so much more unique, interesting, beguiling…beautiful to me .

To me, they mirror the beauty of life and it’s unpredictability so much more than “perfection” ever would… they are, life itself.

« Without imperfection, neither you nor I would exist. »
